Centene Corporation Team Assistant - Facilities in Rego Park, New York

HourlyPosition Purpose: The Team Assistant will be responsible for supporting the department by coordinating functions and completing administrative, telephonic and clerical duties as assigned.

  • Provides phone coverage and clerical support to the team. Places follow-up telephone calls.

  • Assists staff within teams to facilitate workflow and ensure efficient service to our customers.

  • Coordinates/implements mailings.

  • Logs incoming mail, sorts, and distributes.

  • Assembles and distributes necessary team information including reports, memos and technical data, as requested.

  • Assists in preparing monthly audits.

  • Provides support to members of the department and supports various department functions.

  • Handles data entry and maintains database.

  • Researches various topics on the Internet.Handles follow-up telephone calls.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum six months administrative experience. Previous experience within the healthcare insurance industry with provider relations preferred

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience with electronic facilities work ticket systems preferred

Experience providing support to facilities department staff for a multi-location work environment preferred
